Obituary for Maynard Cole, Jr.
Maynard Cole, Jr., age 78, of Eighth Street in Ravenna, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at the Irvine Nursing & Rehabilitation Center following a long illness. He was born April 9, 1940 in Madison County and was the son of the late Maynard and Rhoda Clouse Cole. He was a retired truck driver with World Wide Trucking and a member of the Salem Christian Church. He was a United States Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Cockrell Cole. He is survived by:
1 Daughter: Connie (Rick) Arthur - Ravenna
1 Son: Clinton (Sherri) Cole - Irvine
1 Sister: Rosalee Lawson - Richmond
1 Brother: Tom Cole - Richmond
4 Grandchildren: Melissa, Jennifer Tabitha and Jared
10 Great Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by 1 sister, Edith Travis and 3 brothers; Ed, Alfred and Bud Cole.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 7, 2 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Saturday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
