Marian A. Blanton, age 77, of Pineway Avenue in Irvine, passed away Tuesday, August 8th, at the Compassionate Care Center, following a long illness. She was born February 2, 1940, in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late Michael Christopher Izzo and Florence Nelson. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. She is survived by: Her Husband: Bennett Delbert Blanton 6 Daughters: Karen A. Stone Madison Co. Marie A. Flynn Estill Christina J. McIntosh Estill Mary C. Ballard Estill Bonnie S. Briggs North Carolina Denise Ellis Brandenburg, KY A Son: Benjamin D. Blanton Louisville 3 Sisters: Frances Girolamo New York Diane Vonadita New York Michael Ann Aarons New York 2 Brothers: Guytano Izzo New York James Nelson Texas 24 Grandchildren Several Great Grandchildren Several Great-Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by a Son: Benjamin Blanton, and 2 Daughters: Debra Bechnell, Elizabeth Blanton. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 10 AM at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church by Father Al Fritsch with burial to follow in the Hall Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Friday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home and after 9 AM Saturday at the church.
