Obituary for Shirley Sue Ross
Shirley Sue Ross, age 73, of Glyn Court in Irvine, passed away Saturday, April 22nd at the Compassionate Care Center, following a short illness. She was born April 6, 1944, in Knox County, a daughter of the late Wesley Shelton and Doxie Hamblin Liford. She was a factory worker at Carhartt, Inc. and then a nurse's aid at the Kenwood Nursing Home. She had lived in Estill County for the past 35 years and was of the Holiness Faith. She is survived by: Her Husband: William 'Bill' C. Ross 4 Daughters: Deborah Richardson Irvine Sandra Richardson Richmond Sheila Isaacs Richmond Melinda Mills Richmond 3 Sons: William J. Ross Lexington Gregory Ross (Susan) Richmond David Ross Irvine 2 Brothers: Eugene Shelton Barbourville Wesley Shelton Jr. Berea Half Sister: Freida Jackson Barbourville 15 Grandchildren 10 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by a Sister, Lillian Wagers. Graveside services will be conducted Monday 1 PM at the Bark Road Cemetery by Bro. Raymond VanCleve. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Hospice Care Plus.
