Obituary for Ruby Marie Whitaker Snowden
Ruby Marie Whitaker Snowden, age 82, of Richmond, KY, passed away Wednesday, October 14th, at the Compassionate Care Center after a long illness.She was born March 4, 1933, in Garrard County, the daughter of the late Marshall and Hazel Montgomery Whitaker.She was employed as a bus driver for 21 years by the Madison County Board of Education.She had lived in Garrard County most of her life and was a member of the Tates Creek Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Kendall Snowden.She is survived by: 2 Daughters: Patricia Horn (Ronald) Garrard Co. Peggy Fox (Ellis) Irvine A Sister: Minnie Lawson Garrard Co. 2 Brothers: William Whitaker Garrard Co. Earl Gordon Whitaker Lincoln Co. 3 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren 2 Step Great Granddaughters Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Jerry Huffman with burial to follow in the West Irvine Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
