Obituary for Raymond Young
Raymond Young, age 75, of West Cedar Grove Road in Irvine passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015, at St. Joseph East in Lexington following a short illness.He was born December 26, 1939 in Estill County and was the son of the late Walter and Lena Williams Young.He was a CSX engineer and retired after 23 years of service.He worked 17 years at the Bluegrass Army Depot and was a United States Army veteran. He attended the Church of God and lived in Estill County all of his life.He is survived by: His wife:Wilma E. Dixon Young 2 Daughters:Debra Young Estill Co. Maliea Rae Arvin Estill Co. 1 Son:Steven Todd Young Estill Co. 2 Brothers:Earl Young Estill Co. Dennie Young Estill Co. 6 Grandchildren:Dustin Arvin, Taylan Arvin, Tristan Cackling, Jager Young, Corey Young and Kyra Cackling 2 Great-Grandchildren:Benley Cackling and Karter Cackling He was preceded in death by 1 brother, Ernest Young. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 6, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Beverly Arvin and Bro. Frankie Sparks.Burial will be at the Young Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Sunday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
