Steven Wayne Dawes, age 63, of V.C. Witt Road in Irvine passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015, at his home following a sudden illness.He was born June 8, 1952 in Hamilton, Ohio and was the son of Irene Neal Dawes and the late Albert Dawes.He was a retired carpenter with Dawes Construction and had lived in Estill County most of his life.Survivors in addition to his mother include: His companion and longtime friend:Shirley Hurley 3 Sons:Jon Dawes Wilmington, NC Brian Dawes ; wife, Dawn Vidalia, GA Dustin Dawes Irvine 1 Step-Son:David Adams ; wife, Rebecca Irvine 1 Sister:Peggy Spivey ; husband, Harold Irvine 1 Brother:Gary Dawes ; wife, LaDonna Irvine 1 Grandchild:Christopher Dawes 2 Nephews:Glynn ; Brandon Spivey 1 Niece:Jessica Dawes Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 23, 12 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Beverly Arvin.Friends may call after 10 AM Tuesday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
