Obituary for Davinal Farthing
Davinal Farthing, age 83, of Minor Lane in Irvine passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013, at the St. Joseph Hospital after a short illness.He was born November 15, 1930 in Estill County and was the son of the late Hobert and Della Bryant Farthing.He was a retired employee of Phillips Lighting and a member of the First Baptist Church.He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge 137 F;AM.He had lived in Estill County all of his life.He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Ann Edmonson Farthing. He is survived by: 1 Daughter:Judy Farthing Irvine 1 Son:Billy Farthing ; wife, Sandra Kay Paintsville 1 Sister:Ruby Robinson Marion, IN 1 Brother:Ivan Farthing Hamilton, OH 7 Grandchildren 5 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by 2 sons; Bobby Lee Farthing and David Glen Farthing and 2 brothers; Ronald and Duane Farthing. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 16, 1 PM at the First Baptist Church by Bro. Raymond Flynn.Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial Gardens.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Sunday at the First Baptist Church.Warren F. Toler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
