Ernest Pryse Rogers, age 84, of Broadway in Irvine passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the Marcum ; Wallace Memorial Hospital after a short illness.He was born October 5, 1928 in Estill County and was the son of the late Elmo and Zella Rogers.He was a retired employee of the St. Joseph Hospital and was a member of the Hargett Church of God.He had lived in Estill County all of his life.He is survived by: His wife:Leora Patrick Rogers 1 Daughter:Carol Alexander ; companion, Kip Lambdin Irvine 6 Sisters:Joann Frances ; husband, Sylvester Lexington Waveleen Crockett Lexington Reva Seaton ; husband, Louis Lee Co. Sterling Oscar Rogers ; wife, Diana Winchester Austin Rogers ; wife, Norma Irvine 2 Grandchildren:Beth Kirby ; husband, Tom Jarrod Alexander ; companion, Chelsea 5 Great Grandchildren:Hailey Wilson, Paityn Alexander, Grace Kirby, Jacob Kirby, and Mason Kirby He was preceded in death by 2 sons; Ernest Lee Rogers and Michael Timothy Rogers, 2 sisters; Maxine Shepherd and Christine Pollack and 2 brothers; Lloyd and Lenuil Rogers. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 20, 1 PM at the Cobb Hill Crossroads Community Church by Bro. Henry Johnson and Bro. Elwood Patrick.Burial will be at the Cobb Hill Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Monday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
