Obituary for Arvella Rice Combs
Arvella Rice Combs, age 75, of Gleneagles Drive in Lexington passed away Monday, September 24, 2012, at the St. Joseph East Hospital after a long illness.She was born October 19, 1936 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Jesse Rice and Bertha Allen Rice Meek.She was a homemaker and had lived in Lexington most of her life where she was a member of the Broadway Christian Church.She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She is survived by: 3 Daughters:Marilyn Elam Georgetown Joy Pennington Lawrenceburg Jennifer Wolfe Albany, IN 6 Grandchildren 2 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Leon and Wendell Rice. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 27, 6 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Sherl Thomas.Burial will be at the Wills Cemetery.Friends may call from 4 PM Thursday until service time at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
