Marie Plowman Roberts, age 82, of Winchester Road in Irvine passed away Friday, January 27, 2012, at the Select Specialty Hospital after a short illness.She was born September 4, 1929 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late William and Serilda Morris Plowman.She was a mother and homemaker and attended the Irvine First Church of God.She was also a founding member of the Easter Valley Baptist Church.She had lived in Estill County all of her life.She is survived by: Her daughter:Rosetta Roberts Turpin ; husband, Ronald Richmond Her son:Scotty Roberts ; wife, Virginia Irvine Her daughter-in-law:Carol Roberts Pikeville 1 Sister:Opal Bowlin Tarpon Springs, FL 2 Brothers:Fred Plowman Hamilton, OH Raymond Plowman Jamestown, OH 5 Grandchildren 9 Great Grandchildren 1 Great-Great Grandchild She was preceded in death by 1 son, Tony Roberts, 5 sisters; Joycie Lamb, Edna Estes, Viola Sparks, Virginia Cox and Flossie Harris and 3 brothers; Shirley, Ernest and Earl Plowman. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 30, 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home by Bro. Todd St. John.Burial will be at the Campbell Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Sunday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
