Dextral Horn, age 80, of Winchester Road in Irvine, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023, at his home following a long illness. He was born March 13, 1943, in Estill County and was the son of the late Buell and Clara Newton Horn. He was the owner of Horn’s Excavating and Trucking and he attended the Williams Memorial Baptist Church. He was a member of the Irvine Masonic Lodge #137 and of the 32 Degree Scottish Rite. He had lived in Estill County all his life. He is survived by:

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 brother, Mitchell Horn.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 18, 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chris Winkler officiating. Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM.
