Anna Lou Harrison, age 94, of Dry Branch Road in Irvine, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023, at the Marcum and Wallace Hospital following a long illness. She was born December 22, 1928, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Ben and Florence Spicer Whitener. She was a Civil Service Worker, retiring from the Blue Grass Activity in 1986. She was a member of the Williams Memorial Baptist Church and she had lived in Estill County for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Harrison and she is survived by:

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Debra Ann Witt and Pamela Sue Frymyer, 1 sister, Betty Dolley, 1 brother, Logan Whitener, and 2 grandchildren, Sheila Denise Frymyer and Heather Dawn Witt.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 29, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Rogers officiating. Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
