Jeff Garfield Rogers, age 61, of Cow Creek Road in Ravenna passed away Monday, February 6, 2012, at the St. Joseph East Hospital after a short illness.He was born November 23, 1951 in Lee County and was the son of the late Earl Douglas and Loraine Stamper Rogers.He was a handyman and was a member of the VFW.He had lived in Estill County most of his life.He is survived by: His wife:Karen Sue Harmon Rogers 1 Daughter:Angel Gooch Berea 2 Step-Daughters:Rhonda Stevens Alabama Bekki Hoover ; Bill Reed Irvine 3 Step-Sons:Steve Hoover ; Trish Carroll Irvine Jody Hoover Irvine James Hoover ; wife, Shelly Irvine 7 Sisters:Silvanie Rogers Estill Co. Louranie Townsend Estill Co. Sylvia Stamper ; husband, Junior Estill Co. Virginia Tipton ; husband, Michael Estill Co. Hazel Dawson ; husband, Othal Estill Co. Linda Mayse ; husband, Jimmy Estill Co. Molly Kay Marcum Michigan 3 Brothers:Johny Rogers ; wife, Edna Estill Co. Tony Rogers ; wife, Carrie Estill Co. Freddie Rogers ; wife, Julie Hazel Green 16 Grandchildren 3 Great Grandchildren Several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by 1 sister, Mary Emmy Rogers and 1 brother, Roy William Rogers. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 10, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Willy Gordon.Burial will be at the Oakdale Cemetery.Friends may call from 11 AM Friday until service time at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
