Obituary for Zula Rose
Zula Rose, age 92, of Burns, TN, passed away May 30th at the Country Place Senior Living in Foley, AL, after a short illness.She was born Oct. 16, 1922 in Paintsville, KY, the daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison and Sarah Catherine Durbin Sparks.She was a homemaker and a member of the Far Hills Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Morris Rose.She is survived by: 2 Daughters: Charlotte Sonora (Henry) Alabama Carolyn Baber (Jack) Alabama 4 Grandchildren: Michael Johnson Angie Aicholtz Robin Fowler Tony Baber 5 Great Grandchildren 3 Great Great Grandchildren In addition to her husband, she is also preceded in death by 2 Sisters: Beulah Spurlin, Alma Abshear, and 3 Brothers: Arlis, Lonzel, and Local Sparks. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday 2 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Matt Vaught with burial to follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.Friends may call after 1 PM Thursday until service time at the funeral home.
