William Martin Montie, age 67, of Blackburn Road in Irvine passed away Friday, May 22, 2015, at the Compassionate Care Center following a long illness.He was born April 1, 1948 in Wyandotte, Michigan and was the son of the late Gilbert and Dorothy Egan Montie.He was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the American Legion.He was a former employee of Kokoku and had lived in Estill County the past 21 years.He is survived by: His wife:Janet Lynn Hymer Montie 2 Daugthers:Stacey Camden Irvine Tammy Baldwin ; husband, Joe Michigan 4 Sons:William Matthew Montie Michigan Richard Allen Montie ; wife, Tammy North Carolina Gilbert Martin Montie LaGrange Steven Montie ; wife, Naomi Richmond 1 Brother:Gil Montie Virginia 22 Grandchildren 8 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by 1 sister, Terri Montie and 1 grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 25, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Harry Rubble.Friends may call after 11 AM Monday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
