Wanda Kay Johnson Rawlins, age 65, of Shady Lane in Irvine, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was born May 8, 1960, in Estill County, and was the daughter of the late Tom Johnson and Ella Faye Stone Johnson. She retired from Electronic Assembly, and she had lived in Estill County all her life. She is survived by:
1 son: Bryan Edward Rawlins (Ashley) - Estill Co.
2 sisters: Laura McKinney (Earl) - Estill Co.
Irene Brown - Ohio
1 brother: Harold Johnson (Lou) - Estill Co.
2 sisters-in-law: Sue Johnson - Estill Co.
Judy Johnson - Estill Co.
1 grandchild: Brynley Faith Rawlins
Great Niece: Ashley Johnson
Long Time Friend: Lisa Johnson
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 sister, Josephine Smith, and 2 brothers, Clayton Johnson and Paul Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donation may be made towards the funeral expenses.
Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, June 4, 1 PM, at the West Irvine Cemetery with Bro. Glendon Woosley officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
