Obituary for Wade H. Richardson, Jr.
Wade Hampton Richardson, Jr., age 90, of Crooked Creek Road in Irvine passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center after a short illness.He was born November 1, 1922 in Estill County and was the son of the late Wade Hampton Richardson, Sr. and Rhoda Shepherd Richardson.He was a retired farmer and a former employee of the Maxwell Paper Mill.He was a member of the First Church of God in Franklin, Ohio and attended the Ravenna Church of God.He had lived in Estill County most of his life.He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Virginia Arvin Richardson.He is survived by: 2 Daughters:Sharon Arvin Richardson Dudley Ravenna Karen Rhoda Mae Richardson Bicknell ; husband, Mike Irvine 1 Son:Wade Hampton 'Hamp' Richardson, III Irvine Adopted Son:William Earl Kidwell ; wife, Joan South Carolina 2 Sisters:Henriella Thomas Madison Co. Ora Lainhart Madison Co. 7 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Tanya Kim Rogers Richardson, 3 sisters; Sally Oliver, Stanley Thomas and Margie Faye Abner and 4 brothers; Glenn, T.H., Jennings and Clyde Richardson. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 4, 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Sherl Thomas.Burial will be at the Tanya Kim Rogers Richardson Memorial Gardens.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Monday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
