Obituary for W.C."Tucker" Taylor
W. C. 'Tucker' Taylor, age 90, of Price Road in Irvine, passed away Thursday, March 2nd, at the Baptist Health Richmond Hospital, following a short illness. He was born December 2, 1926, in Lee County, a son of the late Charlie and Ollie Brandenburg Taylor. He was a farmer and had lived in Estill County most of his life. He was an organizer and former member of the Board of Directors with Citizen Guaranty Bank where he served as chairman. He was a Veteran with the United States Army where he served in World War II. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Lelia Tipton Taylor. He is survived by: A Daughter: Sue Carol Beckley (Wayne) Estill Co. 1 Son: Wallace Charles Taylor (Cathy) Estill Co. 2 Sisters: Princess Benton Estill Co. Wanda Cox Casey Franklin Co. 3 Brothers: Charlie Taylor Jr. (Claudine) Estill Co. David Taylor Clark Co. Gary Taylor (Becky) Clark Co. 3 Grandchildren: Dr. L. W. Beckley (Emily) Charleston Jo Neal (Chad) Wallace Chandler Taylor 2 Great Grandchildren: Will Jared Beckley Willow Charleston Taylor He was preceded in death by 1 Son: William Calvin Taylor Jr.; 5 Siblings: Della Holbrook, Cora Jo Flynn, Ella Marie Ratcliff Morris, James Charles 'Mutton' Taylor, Henry Clay Taylor; 1 Grandchild: Chadwick Miles Beckley. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel byTim Hall with burial to follow in the West Irvine Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Monday.
