Obituary for Virginia Yeager
Virginia Martin Patrick Yeager, 98, of Main Street in Irvine passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY after a short illness. She was born December 2, 1913 in Estill County and was a daughter of the late Owen and Mary Catherine Tuttle Patrick. Mrs. Yeager retired as a high school teacher with the Estill County School System. She had lived in Estill County all of her life and was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. She was a member of the Garden Club and she volunteered at Marcum ; Wallace Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bennett Yeager. She is survived by: One Daughter: Mary Anne Schmitz (Robert) Cincinnati, OH Two Sons: Thomas Bennett Yeager (Marian) Winchester, VA Frank Yeager, Winchester, KY Seven Grandchildren: Maria Martin, Tommy Yeager, Becky Palka, Kimberly Jo Dwyer, Joe Pat Yeager, Frankie Yeager and Lance Yeager. 12 Great Grandchildren and two Great-Great grandchildren also survive. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Joseph PatrickYeager; one sister, Geneva Murphy; and two brothers, Earl and Harold Patrick. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, August 13, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church by Father Al Fritsch. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 p.m. Sunday at Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
