Violet Jeanne Rittenhouse, age 77, of Wolfinbarger Lane in Irvine passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at the Marcum ; Wallace Memorial Hospital. She was born October 18, 1934 in Anderson, Indiana and was the daughter of the late Fred and Cleo Mills Stroud.She was a homemaker and a member of the Ravenna Church of the Nazarene.She was also a member of the Defenders, the NBL, the History Club and the American Heart Association.She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth William Rittenhouse, Sr.She is survived by: 2 Daughters:Melodee J. Cook Irvine Stephanie Ann Wooten ; boyfriend, Tim Sprong Muncie, IN 1 Son:Patrick E. Rittenhouse Irvine 5 Sisters:Mary Bradberry Indiana Kitty Bradberry Indiana Shirley Flores California Peggy Stroud Arkansas Wanda Stroud Florida 1 Brother:Daniel Stroud Indiana Special Friend:Arlene Kawa Irvine 6 Grandchildren:Joshua Carlin, Dustin Carlin, Jessica Carlin, Kevin Wooten, Lauren (Brian) Blackburn and Grace Doggett 2 Great Grandchildren:Rebecca Grace Carlin and Elise Blackburn She was preceded in death by 1 son, Kenneth Rittenhouse, Jr. and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 30, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bob Mills.Burial will be at the Campbell Cemetery.Friends may call from 11 AM Friday until service time.
