Verlon June Edwards Ousley, age 80, of Old Boonesboro Road in Winchester, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, at her home following a long illness. She was born June 13, 1943, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Elbert and Hazel Riddell Dixon. She retired from J.C. Pennys where she worked as a clerk. She had lived in Estill County for most of her life. She is survived by:

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Arnold C. Edwards, 1 sister, Kathy Dixon Worley, and 1 brother, Darrell Dixon.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 7, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tommy Edwards officiating. Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
