Tony Dwayne Murphy, age 57, of New Fox Road in Irvine, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024, at his home following a short illness. He was born March 17, 1966, in Estill County, and was the son of the late Bobby Gene Murphy and Carolyn Sue Dawes Murphy. He was a Sawyer for Powell Valley Sawmill and attended the Irvine First Church of God. He had lived in Estill County all his life. He is survived by:

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Dale “Mudduck” Murphy.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 23, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Rose Freeman Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
