Sue Bailey, age 78, of Winchester Road in Irvine, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington following a short illness. She was born November 20, 1945, in Richmond, Indiana, and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Edith Brandenburg Gabbard. She was a Seamstress for Mechanics Laundry and had lived in Estill County for the last 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Alton Bailey III, and she is survived by:

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 3 sons, James C. Bailey IV, Jeffrey Allen Bailey, and Jonathon Al Bailey, and 1 sister, Linda Mae Brandenburg
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 22, 1 PM, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Hoffman officiating. Burial will be at the Spencer Cemetery in Campton. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
