Stanley Eugene Robbins, age 81, of Cobb Hill Road in Irvine passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014, at the Marcum ; Wallace Memorial Hospital after a long illness.He was born September 25, 1933 in Fentress Co., Tennessee and was the son of the late Asby Stanley and Artha Reagan Robbins.He was a retired vice-president with Red River Hardwoods and had lived in Estill County for the past 25 years.He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Flatwoods Baptist Church.He is survived by: His wife of 61 years:Zelma Dean Hall Robbins 1 Son:Ronald Gary Robbins ; wife, Billie Alma, Arkansas 1 Sister:Ida Mathney Dayton, OH 1 Brother:John Robbins ; wife, Brenda Jamestown, TN 1 Grandchild:Angela Robbins Elger Pennsylvania 2 Great Grandchildren 3 Great-Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by 1 son, Danny Eugene Robbins, 1 sister, Novella Cook and 1 brother, George Robbins. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 11, 3 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. John Robbins and Bro. Wayne Wright.Burial will be at the Cobb Hill Cemetery.Friends may call after 2 PM Saturday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
