Silas Ervin Griffith, age 60, of Richmond Road in Lancaster passed away Friday, February 15, 2013, at his home following a long illness.He was born January 6, 1953 in Breathitt County and was the son of the late Rufus Griffith, Sr. and Julie Little Griffith.He was a farmer and had lived in Garrard County most of his life.He is survived by: 1 Daughter:Jennifer Griffith Lancaster 1 Son:Michael Griffith Richmond 1 Sister:Isabelle Griffith Beattyville 4 Brothers:Mitchell GriffithBeattyville Rufus Griffith, Jr. Beattyville Leroy Griffith Garrard Co. Bobby Middleton Danville 2 Grandchildren:Kaitlynn and Kristina Golden He was preceded in death by 1 sister, Mary Ilene Griffith and 2 brothers; Earl and James David Griffith. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 18, 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Herbert Barnett.Burial will be at the Johnny Griffith Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Sunday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
