Obituary for Shirley Ann Cox
Shirley Ann Cox, age 77, of Lexington, KY, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023, at the St. Joseph Hospital following a short illness. She was born July 10, 1946, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Hubert and Ruth Phoenix Walton. She was retired from the Kroger Co. and had lived in Lexington most of her life. She is survived by:
2 sons: Michael Joseph Cox - Lexington
David Brent (Tara) Cox - Lexington
3 grandchildren: Andrew Michael Cox, Brayden Robert Cox, and Colin Brent Cox
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion E. Cox.
Private burial will be held at the Walton Cemetery. The Warren F. Toler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
