Shannon Fred Cain Sr., age 62, of McKee Road in Irvine, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at his home. He was born April 7, 1963, in Estill County and was the son of the late David Fred Cain and Alma C. Smith Fowler. He was a Horse Farmer and had lived in Estill County for most of his life. He is survived by:

16 grandchildren: Dywren Cain, Kanyon Cain, Ean Cain, Amayah Cain, Gunnar Cain, Remmington Cain, Mark Brooks, Billy Brooks Jr., Brent Goertzen, Alyssa Goertzen, Trenton Robles, Brandon Robles, Emily Robles, Kinley Robles, Kaileigh Watson, and Harper Watson

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 brother, Victor Cain.
