Scott Hayes, 61, of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026, at Irvine Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center following a long illness.
Born on February 11, 1965, Scott was the son of the late Lowell Gene Hayes and Pauline Moore Hayes.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart, Sheila Kaye Hayes; his beloved daughter and only child, Emily Danielle Hayes; Emily’s longtime companion, Dalton McKinney; his brother, Lowell Gene Hayes Jr.; and his nephew, Ryan Chad Hayes.
Scott was a member of Ravenna Nazarene Church and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He loved fishing, trading knives, and visiting flea markets. He cherished time spent with family and friends and will be remembered for his kind heart and the many memories he created with those who knew and loved him.
Scott’s family will forever treasure the love, laughter, and memories he leaves behind.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 14th, at 2 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Barnett officiating. Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12 to 2 PM.
