Obituary for Samuel Ray Hatton
Samuel Ray Hatton, age 80, of White Oak Road in Irvine passed away Monday, July 25, 2011, at his home following a long illness.He was born August 13, 1930 in Jessamine County and was the son of the late Merrill and Julie Puckett Hatton.He was a retired Bluegrass Army Depot employee and a former employee of H;H Fuel.He was a member of the Hargett Church of God and had lived in Estill County most of his life.He was a United States Air Force veteran of World War II.He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Powell Hatton.He is survived by: 3 Daughters: Valerie Williams Richmond Magnolia Rawlins Winchester Madeline Morris Winchester 1 Half-Sister:Loredia West Paris 6 Grandchildren:Tammy York, Shelly Arvin, Shannon Morris, Jason Rawlins, Dale Wise and Adrenna Williams 5 Great-Grandchildren:Coleman Arvin, Samantha Arvin, Reagan Rawlins,Christopher Wise and Joseph York He was preceded in death by several half-brothers and half-sisters. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 28, 2 PM at the White Oak Church of God by Bro. Larry Frymyer and Bro. Henry Johnson.Burial will be at the Dunaway Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Wednesday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home and after 12 Noon Thursday at the Church.
