Obituary for Roy Young
Roy Young, age 65 of Barnes Mountain Road in Irvine passed away Monday, June 25, 2018, at his home following a short illness. He was born December 13, 1952 in Estill County and was the son of the late Theo and Maggie Isaacs Young. He was a retired ATS Construction employee and had lived in Estill County all his life. He is survived by: His wife: Thelma Jean 'Puchie' Flannery Young 2 Sisters: Marie Young Estill Co. Darlene (Darrell) Calmes Estill Co. 1 Brother: Troy Young Estill Co. Sister-in-law: Brenda Young Estill Co. Brother-in-law: Delbert Spivey Estill Co. 11 nieces and 10 nephews He was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Ella Young, Gearldean Newton, Jeanette Spivey and 3 brothers; Luther, Frank and Jack Young. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 28, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Jimmy Lee Williams. Burial will be at the Dunn Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Wednesday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
