Obituary for Roy Wesley Overbay
Roy Wesley Overbay, 74, of Mt. Zion Road in Irvine, KY passed away Friday, June 15, 2012 at the St. Joseph Hospice Care Center in Lexington after a short illness. He was born September 6, 1937 in Irvine, KY, and was a son of the late Manford and AnnieJohnson Overbay. He was a retired stone cutter with Lexington Cut Stoned. He had lived in Estill County most of his life. He is survived by: Two Sons: Larry Overbay and wife, Cindy, Nicholasville, KY Alvah Overbay, Rockcastle County, KY One Sister: Wanda Hamm, Irvine, KY One Brother: Ronald Overbay, Irvine, KY Five grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Roy Glenn Overbay; one sister, Catherine Overbay; two brothers: Doug and Raymond Overbay; two half sisters and one half brother also precede him in death. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Bobby Hale. Burial will be in the Walton Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
