Roy Junior Winkler, age 77, a resident of the Irvine Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the Center following a long illness. He was born March 16, 1947, in Estill County and was the son of the late Alvin and Dorothy Johnson Winkler. He attended the Stacy Lane Pentecostal Church and had lived in Estill County most of his life. He is survived by:

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Eula Mae Winkler, Mattie Riddell, Thelma Jane Stamper, and 2 brothers, Harold Dean Winkler, and Austin Gene Winkler.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 6, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
