Rowland Eugene Watson, age 92, of McIntosh Hollow in Ravenna, KY, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026, at the Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital. He was born March 22, 1933, in Ravenna, KY, a son of the late Arthur Jenning Watson Sr. and Susie Edna Meadows Watson. He retired from the Diamond International Power Plant where he worked as an Engineer and had lived in Ohio most of his life. He was a United States Navy Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a devout Christian and a Member of the Cow Creek Baptist Church. He was also a Member of the Estill County Historical Society. He was preceded in death by his Wife of 70 years, Eva Lee McIntosh Watson. He is survived by:

In addition to his Parents and Wife, he was also preceded in death by 3 Sisters: Wavelene Taulby, Francis Spring, Nellie Alcorn; 5 Brothers: Junior, Lynwood, Harold, Donald, and Paul Watson.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Scott Rogers with burial to follow in the McIntosh Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
