Ronald Lynn Powell, age 68, of Elmer Richardson Road in Irvine, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond following a long illness. He was born August 28, 1954, in Madison County and was the son of the late Mattie C. Powell Berger. He retired from 38 years with The Allen Company as an operator/engineer. He was a member of the Sandhill Christian Church and had lived in Estill County all his life. He enjoyed fishing, golf, the banjo, and car racing. He is survived by:

He was preceded in death by his mother and his stepfather, Leonard Berger.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 1, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Matt Vaught officiating. Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
