Roetta Neal Hackworth, age 77, of Laurel Street in Irvine, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at The Terrace Nursing Home in Berea following a long illness. She was born June 10, 1947, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Charlie and Scottie Riddell Neal. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Pea Ridge Holiness Church. She had lived in Estill County all her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wayne Hackworth, and she is survived by:
1 daughter: Miranda Kelly (Hank Kinslow) - Louisville
1 stepdaughter: Kandace Travillian - Louisville
1 sister: Hester White - Estill Co.
3 grandchildren: Cheyanna Ray Kelley, Sadae Kinslow, and Devon Kinslow (Faith)
2 step great grandchildren: Kamari Kinslow and Christian Campbell

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 5 sisters, Edith Hall, Myrtle Miller, Clare Donahue, Barbara Williams, and Essie Gordon, 1 brother, Norman Neal, and 1 step great grandchild, Ozzy Kinslow
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 8, 1 PM, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Stone Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
