Obituary for Robert Drake
Robert Drake, age 86, of Cressy Road in Irvine passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at the Compassionate Care Center after a long illness.He was born January 22, 1925 in Lee County and was the son of the late Greely and Della Fraley Drake.He was the owner of Drake's Auto Sales in Hamilton, Ohio and he was a United States Navy veteran of World War II.He was also a member of the NRA.He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Horn Drake.He is survived by: His son:Bobby Wayne Drake and wife, Carol Cape Coral, FL 4 Sisters:Irene Canada Georgetown Juanita Moody Somerset Emma Benton Lee Co. Joyce Belcher Jamestown 1 Brother:Edward Drake Hamilton, OH 4 Grandchildren:Bobby Wayne Drake, Jr., Jonathan Baker, Clinton Baker ; Darla Arnold 7 Great Grandchildren:Tyler Drake, Chloe Drake, Lauren Baker, Ryan Arnold, Joshua Arnold, Jessica Baker and Kristen Baker His Long-time Friend:Alice Rogers Estill Co. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Christine McCorder and Josephine Mitchell and 2 brothers; Otto and Charlie Drake. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 30, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Franklin Drake.Burial will be at the Horn Cemetery.Friends may call from 11 AM Friday until funeral time.
