Obituary for Randy Powell, Jr.
Randy Powell, Jr., age 80, of Crooked Creek Road in Irvine passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012, at the Stanton Nursing Center after a long illness.He was born May 11, 1932 in Estill County and was the son of the late Madison and Susan Madden Powell. He was a retired Baltimore Ohio Railroad employee and was a member of the Blooming Grove Family Worship Center in Indiana.He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Kentucky Friends of Bluegrass Music.He is survived by: His wife:Iva Warford Powell 3 Daughters:Donna Pitcock Indiana Linda Miller Indiana Debbie Powell Indiana 4 Sons:Randy G. Powell ; wife, Connie Indiana Danny Powell ; wife, Cindy Indiana Tom Powell ; wife, Cindy Indiana Mike Powell ; wife, Connie Irvine 23 Grandchildren 45 Great Grandchildren 2 Great-Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Corah Lee Powell, 1 sister, Mae Abner and 3 brothers; Cecil, Gordon and Gilbert Powell. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 27, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Tom Marshall and Bro. Bill Springman.Burial will be at the Powell Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Monday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
