Priscilla “Pris” O. Riddell
Devoted and Caring Wife and Mother
Priscilla O. Riddell, 82, passed away May 25, 2024, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Richmond, KY with her family by her side.
Pris was born on October 18, 1941, in Berea, KY, to Thomas and Ruddell O’Mara. She graduated from Madison Heights High School in Anderson, IN, in 1959. Pris went on to sell fire trucks for Grumman until she retired in 2004. While working at Grumman, she met her husband, Lilburn “Lib” Riddell, and the two got married while on a lunch date on June 20, 1986.
A faithful Christian, Pris was a devout member of the Methodist faith and attended the Wisemantown Methodist Church in Irvine, KY until the end of her life. She had a lifelong love for animals and is well known to have befriended many kinds of animals at her home in Waco, KY. Pris also loved to read, cook, and especially play card games with her friends and family.
Pris is survived by her husband, Lilburn Riddell, her daughters, Cheri Wills (Stacey) and Diana Scott (Michael), and her son Darryl Riddell (Doris), 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her best friend, Nancy Stacy.
She is preceded in death by her father Thomas, her mother Ruddell, and her daughter, Rita Greene.

A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, May 29, 3 PM at the Wisemantown Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2 to 3 PM at the church. The Warren F. Toler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Madison County Animal Shelter in Berea, KY to honor her love of all animals. Donations may be sent to 1386 Richmond Road N. Berea, KY 40403.
