Phyllis Ann Tevis Freeman, age 80, of Drowning Creek Ridge, Irvine, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Baptist Health Hospital in Richmond after a short illness.
She was born to Earl and Berneice Tevis on January 16, 1943 in Estill County where she lived all her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Billy Earl Freeman and Sheila Ann Freeman, both of Irvine, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Harold Freeman, her parents and her brother, Park Tevis.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 17, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ronald Lutes officiating. Burial will be at the Turpin Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made toward her funeral expenses.
