Peggy Richardson, age 76, of Ennis, Texas, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Waxahachie, Texas. She was born July 9, 1948, in Estill County, and was the daughter of the late Cleve Rawlins and Mary Blackwell Rawlins. She retired from Sylvania and Trane, and she was a member of the St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Richardson, and she is survived by:
1 daughter: Sandra K. Thorne (West) - Texas
1 son: David Richardson (Julie) - Lexington
1 brother: Earnest Rawlins - Florida
1 grandchild: Blake Thorne
1 niece: DeeAnn Davidson Swisher - Ohio
1 nephew: Tim Stephen - Kentucky
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Pat Stephen and Kitty Davidson.
A memorial graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, September 9, 10:30 AM, at the Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Warren F. Toler Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
