Obituary for Pearl Conner Goosey
Pearl Conner Goosey, age 86, of Turpin Ridge Road in Irvine passed away Friday, August 19, 2011, at the Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital after a long illness.She was born January 19, 1925 in Madison County and was the daughter of the late James and Bertha Webb Conner.She was a retired cook at the Irvine Health and Rehabilitation Center.She was a member of the Outreach Church and had lived in Estill County most of her life.She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Goosey.She is survived by: 4 Daughters: Barbara Richardson Estill Co. Brenda Logsdon Estill Co. Geraldine Chaney Estill Co. Shirley Estes Estill Co. 4 Sons:Elmer Jr. Goosey Estill Co. Raymond Goosey Estill Co. Randall Goosey Estill Co. Billy Goosey Madison Co. 1 Sister:Lucille Reed Madison Co. 22 Grandchildren 33 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by 4 sisters; Katherine Cain, Mary Todd, Magie McDonaldson and Georgia Mae Conner and 7 brothers; Lewis, Oliver, Jessie, Matt, Edgar, Earl and John William Conner and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 22, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Jerry Rose.Burial will be at the Turpin Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Sunday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
