
Pauline C. Horn, age 83, a resident of the Irvine Nursing and Rehab Center, passed away Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Marcum and Wallace Hospital following a long illness. She was born July 11, 1941, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Christopher and Florence Young Crowe. She was a retired Seamstress and Union Representative for Carhartt and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She had lived in Estill County for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Junior Horn, and she is survived by:
1 daughter: Susan Farthing
2 brothers: Billy Dean Crowe
James R. Crowe
4 grandchildren: James Farthing, Dale Farthing Jr., Michael Farthing, and Billie Caudill
2 great grandchildren: Kaitlyn Hinds and Jacob Neal
2 great- great grandchildren: Brynlee Beckler and Lakelyn Beckler

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Linda Lou Horn Arvin, 1 sister, Lena Mae Crowe, 4 brothers, Jessie Crowe, Charles Crowe, Clifton Crowe, and her twin brother Rev. Paul Crowe, and 2 grandchildren, Jennifer Arvin and Alisha Arvin.
