Patty Sue Young, age 59, of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, following a short illness.
She was born on December 24, 1965, in Madison County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Kenneth Rawlins. Patty was a kind and loving woman whose warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Patty is survived by her devoted husband, Clyde Young.
One son, Dustin Young, and daughter-in-law, Payten Rice of Estill County; one sister, Gina Riddle of Madison County; and many others.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lucille and Earl Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Joe Altman officiating. Burial will follow at the Beatty Place Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Clyde Young, Dustin Young, Charlie Pasley, Joe Young, Ernie Young, and Ken McQueen.
