Patricia Sue Griffin, age 79, of Sid Griffin Road in Ravenna, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023, at the Compassionate Care Center following a short illness. She was born December 8, 1943, in Breathitt County and was the daughter of the late Carl and Lillie Gabbard King. She was a homemaker and had lived in Estill County most of her life. She is survived by:
3 daughters: Debra (Tony) Collier - Nicholasville
Teresa Arnold - Irvine
Kimberly (Dwight) Richardson - Irvine
1 sister: Betty Faye Florence - Paris
6 grandchildren: Anthony Collier, Brandon Collier, Jamie Horn, Jennifer Horn, Sydney Richardson, and Karlee Richardson
5 great grandchildren: Carter, Caroline, Devyn, Jadyn, and Taryn
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Price Griffin, 2 sisters, Wilma Jean Hall, Maxine Spicer, and 2 brothers, Matt and Jack King.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 22, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home with Tim Hall officiating. Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Funeral Home.
