Obituary for Otis Wayne Sparks
Otis Wayne Sparks, age 57, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013 at his home on Oak Street following a long illness. He was born December 7, 1955 in Madison County, Kentucky and was a son of Sidney Marcus Sparks Sr. and Janie Ruth Barrett Sparks. Mr. Sparks was a Labor Foreman with Messer Contracting Company. He had lived in Estill County all of his life and was a member of the Waco Pentecostal Tabernacle. He is survived by: His wife: Teresa Jean Stamper Sparks Irvine, KY His parents: Sidney Sparks Sr. ; Janie Ruth Sparks, Madison County Two daughters: Crystal Dawn Graham (Andrew), Estill County Lesia Marie Wise (Jon), Estill County Six sisters: Delorice Riddell, Estill County Naomi Gabbard, Mt. Vernon, KY Wanda Murphy, Madison County Thelma Brinegar, Estill County Charlene Brinegar, Madison County Marsha Sparks, Madison County Five Brothers: Sidney Sparks, Jr., Madison County Lenville Ray Sparks, Madison County Ronnie Sparks , Madison County Kenneth Sparks, Madison County Frankie Sparks, Mt. Vernon, KY One Granddaughter: Abby Jean Graham Mr. Sparks was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Faye Sparks. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 11, 2013, 2:00 p.m., at Pine Grove Pentecostal Holiness Assembly by Rev. Sidney Sparks, Jr. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 p.m. Monday at Warren F. Toler Funeral Home and after 12:00 noon Tuesday at the church.
