Obituary for Odell Newton
Odell Newton, age 69, of St. Timothy Road in Irvine passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017, at the Compassionate Care Center following a long illness. He was born January 7, 1948 in Estill County and was the son of the late Dillard and Daisy Canter Newton. He was a construction worker and had lived in Estill Co. all his life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Estes Newton. He is survived by: 3 Daughters: Chrystal Taylor Estill Co. Ella Gordon Estill Co. Judy Rose Louisville 2 Sisters: Jewel Dean Young Estill Co. Annie Jane Berryman Estill Co. 2 Brothers: Shelby Newton Estill Co. Madford Newton Estill Co. 7 Grandchildren 1 Great Grandchild He was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Amee Newton, 2 sisters; Christine Newton and Farrell Jean Newton and 4 brothers; George, Junior, James and Edward Newton. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 5, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Alfred Webb. Burial will be at the Cane Springs Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Tuesday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
