Obie K. Noland, age 87, of South Lily Avenue in Irvine passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013, at the Irvine Health ; Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.He was born December 7, 1925 in Estill County and was the son of the late William and Ollie Dunaway Noland.He was a retired L;N Railroad employee and attended the White Oak Church of God.He was a United States Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion.He had lived in Estill County all of his life.He is survived by: His wife:Betty Lavon Woolery Noland 1 Daughter:Ellen Stotts ; husband, Michael Richmond 2 Sons:Philip Noland ; wife, Connie Irvine Timothy Noland ; wife, Kim Irvine 7 Grandchildren 1 Great Grandchild He was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Burnell, Morris and Robert Noland. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 5, 1 PM at the White Oak Church of God by Bro. Glendon Woosley and Bro. Larry Frymyer.Burial will be at the White Oak Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Tuesday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home and after 12 PM Wednesday at the Church.
