Mrs. Nellie (Johnson) Noland, age 72 of La Fontaine, Indiana died Tuesday, December3, 2013 at Parkview Hospital in Ft. Wayne. She had spent the last several years at Millers Merry Manor of Wabash. Nellie was the daughter of the late Edgar Johnson and Dorothy(Richards) Johnson.She was born on April 5, 1941 in Irvine, Kentucky.Nellie married Franklin R. Noland.He preceded her in death on December 5, 1989.Nellie was a Homemaker and Foster Parent.She shared her home and loved 22 foster children. She was agardener and a seamstress.She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She issurvived by: One Daughter, TinaSheron, Lafontaine, IN Two Sons, Frank (Geraldine) Noland of Greenwood, IN Roy Noland, Lafontaine, IN Two Sisters, Helen (Garvin) Angel, North Carolina Betty (Wayne Ballard, Louisville, KY. 5 Grandchildren; Michael (Yuliia) Sheron Heather Sheron Joshua, Aaron, Princess, and Quinn Noland 1 Great-Grandchild; Lorelai Noland and one on the way. Local arrangements are being handled by Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, Indiana. Visitation will take place on Friday, December 2, 2013 from 12-2 PM at Toler Funeral Home, Old 52 and Dark Hollow Road, Irvine, KY.Funeral Service will immediately follow at 2 PM with burial in West Irvine Cemetery, Irvine, KY.
