Obituary for Nana Lou Mastin
Nana Lou Mastin, age 86, of Campbells Branch Road in Ravenna passed away Monday, February 19, 2018, at her home following a long illness. She was born July 27, 1931 in Typo, Kentucky and was the daughter of the late William Strater and Lula Strange Merrill. She was a homemaker and owner of Kristi's Krafts. She had worked at the Kentucky State Park at Buck Horn and retired from the Appalachian Regional Hospital. She had lived in Estill County for the past 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Mastin. She is survived by: Her daughter: Audrey (Darrell) Baker Ravenna 1 Sister: Gladys Langdon Krypton 2 Grandchildren: Kristin Kaye (Brad) Elswick Darren James Baker 2 Great Grandchildren: Caleb Hunter Ballard Byron Blye Baker She was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Roxie Campbell, Agnes Merrill and Marie Collins and 9 brothers: Luther, Lucien, Oscar, Earnest, Charlie, Burrell, Clarence, William Strater, Jr. and Robert Merrill. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, February 24, 1 PM at the Oakdale Cemetery with the eulogy being given by Mike Tyree and tithes of blessing given by Michael Turner. Friends may call from 11 AM until service time at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
