Michael L. Woolery, age 83, of Farmington Court in Richmond, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond following a short illness. He was born September 19, 1940, in Estill County and was the son of the late Tracy and Fannie Lee Wiseman Woolery. He retired from CSX and was the owner of Michael’s Restaurant. He attended the Ravenna Church of God and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #137. He had lived in Estill County for most of his life. He is survived by:

4 grandchildren: Matthew Woolery, Hunter Woolery, Jenna Jackson, and Jamison Jackson
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Donald Ray Woolery and Steven Tracy Woolery.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, July 27, 2 PM, at the Providence Baptist Church Life Center. The Warren F. Toler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
